Ms. Summers received her Bachelors Degree in
Elementary Education & Early Childhood Education
from BYU. She received her Masters Degree in
Teaching and Learning from the U of U and LPP
Program- Administration from BYU. She is a National
Board Certified Teacher- Middle Childhood
Generalist. She has an English as Second Language
Endorsement. She is a curriculum writer in Science
for the State of Utah, a principal mentor and math
trainer. She has been teaching for 18 1/2 years. She
has 5 children (4 boys & 1 girl), 1 granddaughter and a
fabulous, supportive husband. She loves to read,
travel, spend time with her family, quilt, crochet,
garden, camp, hike and participate in high adventure
activities. She loves being at Southland Elementary
working with such a wonderful staff, students and
parents.
