Mr. Raubenheimer has a 4 year bachelor degree in Elementary Education, as well as a
post-graduate degree in Education. During his bachelors he majored in History, English
and Education. During his post-graduate degree he majored in Education and Psychology
of Education, with minors in History of Education and Mentoring in Education.
He studied his bachelors at Rhodes University in South Africa, and his post-graduate at
the University of South Africa.
This is his 12th year of teaching. He has taught in South Africa, Botswana and now the
USA.
He reads, writes and speaks two languages, English and Afrikaans, which is derived
from Dutch, German, English and Malagasy. He is able to communicate somewhat in
Xhosa and Zulu, two of the 9 African Languages spoken in South Africa.
He is married with 4 kids, number 5 on the way. As a family they have been to 16
States in the 2 years they have lived here, including driving from Utah to upstate NY
during the summer.
