Ms. Heinrichs attended school in California,
undergrad at UC Santa Cruz, with a Bachelors
Degree in Sociology, and teaching
credential/masters degree at San Francisco State
University in Special Education. She has been
teaching special education for about 8 years, but
they were not consecutive ones. She took one year
off to substitute teach while she was pregnant and
had her baby, and one year off to travel around the
world with her husband. They went to 13 countries in
a little under a year. She likes hiking, traveling
(obviously), all snow sports, swimming, reading, and
hanging out with her daughter and husband.
